About Paris Insider

Paris Insider - In Paris!
I suppose I’ve been a bit of a Francophile since I was a Student. My School had a very strong French influence… The only laguage taught was French, the Headmaster had Studied in Paris and we were twinned with a Lycee (School) in Boulogne.
We lived (still do) in Kent, 30 miles from Dover, so day trips to France were a regular part of Life.
Having been a regular visitor to Nord pas de Calais, I first visted Paris in 2000 for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and was at once smitten by it’s Beauty and Joie de Vie. I now visit as often as possible and find almost any excuse to return to the City of Light.
Paris is a relatively compact City but it holds many treasures for the tourist, whether first time or returning.
I hope to share some of the Joys of Paris with you and give you some ideas for when you explore the City, making a few recommendations on the way.
Side note: You will find recommendations and links to various places. Some of these links are money generating and some are not. I believe that for the information to be of real user to my readers, it needs to be impartial, so, where the links are money generating, I will be donating the proceeds to my Local Rotary Club for our Charitable Donations. I hope you enjoy.
P.S. Better Picture coming soon, promise!
